Hoan Bridge helps shine a light on mental and behavioral health crisis

From Oct. 10-12, animated lights on the Hoan Bridge will be programmed to symbolize the mental and behavioral health crisis facing our kids.

The need for pediatric mental and behavioral health care is great, and what we do for our kids now will have a lasting impact. If not addressed, mental and behavioral health issues in childhood can have a significant effect — sometimes serious and irreversible — on a child’s mental development, physical health and well-being long into adulthood.

To inspire others to address the crisis, Jeff Yabuki, the former CEO of Fiserv, Inc., and his family are currently matching donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $5 million. Learn more about the Change the Checkup Challenge and how donations will help transform how mental and behavioral health services are provided at every Children’s Wisconsin primary care office and urgent care location.
